Welcome
to the FDFC2013!
Thank
you - Letter from the organizers
Dear FDFC2013 Participant,
Thank you for attending the FDFC2013 Conference. Our highest priority was to provide attendees with the most stimulating scientific program and environment for exchanging ideas, starting new and strengthening existing collaborations and partnerships. We are delighted that so many of you were able to attend and actively participate in the exciting scientific discussions that took place during these 3 days.
Our conference is steadily growing in many aspects, including its outreach, the number and origin of participants and the topics and area covered. More than 330 participants, coming from more than 25 countries across the 5 continents took part to this year’s edition, whose scientific program included hydrogen production and storage for various applications, as well as the role and potential impact of fuel cells and hydrogen on grid operation and cities.
With respect to that achievement, we would like to acknowledge the valuable commitment of various contributors.
First of all, we thank the conference chair, Dr. Ludmila Gautier, Dr. Vladislav Kolarik, Prof. Yann Bultel and Prof. Daniel Hissel.
The FDFC2013 scientific committee, which was composed of 35 internationally renowned scientists, delivered a highly relevant scientific program addressing recent progresses and prospects in fuel cells and hydrogen, ranging from fundamentals to applications. We would like to warmly thank all committee members, for their invaluable work and constant involvement.
Many thanks are also addressed to the sessions’ chair, all poster and oral presenters, the exhibitors, the media, and the ICT and EIFER staff for all the organizational support.
Finally, we sincerely thank all the participants for making this event possible and increasingly successful.
We hope that FDFC2013 was both a valuable and memorable experience and I am already looking forward to seeing you at the next edition that will take place in 2015 in the beautiful city of Toulouse, France.
Yours sincerely,
Nadia Yousfi Steiner,
On the behalf of the FDFC2013 Organisation (EIFER & Fraunhofer ICT)
